Hey All.   The Llano schools started last Tuesday so I went to the elementary school playgrounds to see what was dropped this first week.  Generally I can expect at least 3 or 4 coins and possibly a piece of costume jewelry.  What I recovered this time was 1 penny.  Great for the kids, bummer for me.  Anyway, I went to Robinson Park (where they hold the Crawfish Festival) intending to check the playground there.  As I was entering the park I noticed 4 R/V parking lanes side by side which were not occupied so I decided to check them.  The first lane I recovered quite a few coins.  The next two lanes had just a couple of coins each.  The last lane had a couple of pennies and a $1 2000-P Sacagawea Dollar coin.  This is only the second $1 coin that I have recovered.  In total I recovered 1 $1 coin, 1 quarter, 3 dimes, 21 pennies, a short section of copper tubing, 6 screws, a piece of aluminum, and some sort of part off of something.  I started my hunt at 7:00 a.m. and by 9:30 a.m. it was getting just too hot for me to check anywhere else today.
