This weekend I went to the Badu Park in Llano and checked the playground, the basketball court, and the swimming area (ground area).  I then went to the Llano Elementary School.  I recovered 2 quarters, seven pennies, a button battery, a chunk of slag, a costume earring, and 2 costume rings.  The silver-colored ring with the oriental symbol was found at the side of the basketball court and the VDI was really jumping all over indicating that the ring has a little silver as well as an alloy core.  The gold-colored ring was found on the shoreline of the swimming area and the VDI jumped all over as well but indicating that it has some copper and an alloy core.  I do not know if the gold color is gold paint with copper as part of the alloy core or if the copper is part of the paint to make the gold color.  The earring was found at the elementary school.  I guess this was my weekend for jewelry albeit costume.
