Good day one and all....

Good news.  We have a confirmed venue for our meeting on November 4, 2023.  We are going back to our roots and will be meeting at the Goodrich Meeting Room of the Herman Brown Free Library in Burnet where the club first originated.  The address of the library is 100 E. Washington Street, Burnet, Texas.  If you arrive before 10:00 a.m. go around the corner and there is a door to the meeting room on the Main Street side of the building.  When the library opens at 10:00 a.m you can enter either through the main entrance or the side entrance.  We will have the meeting room open at 9:00 a.m. to set up for the meeting, however, the actual meeting will not start until 10:00 a.m.

I will post the agenda next week.  If you have something that you want to see discussed at the meeting send me an email describing what your topic is and I will include it in the agenda.  As indicated earlier, Tom has arranged for Scott Wilkins to talk to us about metal detecting in England.  Scott will have some artifacts that he found in England for us to see.  Invite friends and family as the meeting room will seat 60 people.  It will be a great meeting so do everything you can to be there.  We want Scott to know how interested we all are in this hobby.

More to come.
