Hello Folks.  I do not want to speak for everyone, but the magazine interview and the photo shoot at the Kingsland Slab went well.  It went so well that Ben Shields of KBEY (a radio station affiliated with The Picayune Magazine) invited Tom Ashworth and me to be on the radio talking about the Highland Lakes Metal Detecting Club.  KBEY is located in Marble Falls.  The interview will be recorded on June 8th at 10:30 a.m.  I do not know exactly when the discussion will be aired.

I know I have been posting less than I normally do.  I have only had a few trips out with minimal recoveries as I have been working on my duties as Secretary of Hill Country Cats.  I was just elected to the board this month. While this might slow me down on my hunts, it will not interfere with my duties to our club.  If you are interested in helping to slow down the cat population, check out our website at HillCountryCats.org.  If you need assistance with your neighborhood population, call our services coordinator.  If you can donate anything, feel free to hit the donate button.

Remember, our next meeting is on June 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in the BIG meeting room of the Kingsland Library.

If you have questions or comments, email me or call me at 936-334-7902.  Also, let me know if you think of anything that should be brought out during the radio interview.
