Unfortunately, I have been rather busy with my duties at Hill Country Cats which is why I really need to step away from holding office at Hill Country Metal Detecting Club. I will still participate as a member and I will post my finds but I really need you to elect a new president at the December meeting.
Anyway, Dan Lynch did a short personal hunt a couple of weeks ago at Ruff Park in Marble Falls. This is sort of an out of the way pocket park. Dan tells me that the city is closing this park for a bit to do some maintenance or construction. Here Dan was able to recover a quarter, a bolt, and other typical metal detecting trash. Remember, Dan is still learning his new Garrett detector. I am impressed with Dan's enthusiasm for the hobby and his willingness to venture out on his own. Great job Dan.
I do have to give a plug for Hill Country Cats. Check out the flyer that I have attached below. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to reduction of feral and stray cat populations as well as helping residents of Llano and Burnet Counties to have their pet cats spayed or neutered at a lower cost than what is normally charged by the area vets. Find us on our website at hillcountrycats.org or on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/HillCountryCats.
