Open Club Hunt
Date : Saturday January 31st, 2026
Time : 9:30 am - 2 pm
Place: Lometa Regional Park 15155 US 183 Lometa, TX 76853
Park Details: The park is a huge area with playgrounds, rodeo arena, ball fields,
volleyball field, RV lot, many bleachers, a pond area and more. The ground varies
in density. No Fee. I hunted/scouted around for 90 minutes and found some
coins, a *UFO, and lots of trash.
Hunt Details: The park will be free to hunt but there will be 3 “optional pay hunts”
happening that day as detailed below.
Timeline:
9:30 – 10 am
Sign-up and hunt meeting
10:00 – 12 noon
These two optional hunts you will hunt anywhere on the
park’s grounds.
#1. From 10 am – 12 noon
$5 pot/per Most coin value collected. Penny = 1 Dime = 10 etc.
#2 From 10am – noon also $5 Pot/per
Most interesting find (as voted as
a group)
These can be paid out earlier if you must leave early.
12 Noon – 1:00 pm Lunch Break
#3 From 1pm – 2pm $10 / per No teams Painted Penny seeded hunt.
The $10 will pay for the silver dimes, hopefully 3 per hunter.
Painted Penny is rewarded with 1 Silver Dime. (Hope we have some at the
old cheap price.)
Conditions: 5 people minimum
