Hello folks. Well, we had a good time at the Burnet rodeo grounds even though no one really recovered all that much. With so much area I really did not get a firm count of attendance, but I think we had seven or eight show up. Deb Ashworth took a number of photos of finds so hopefully she or Tom will post them soon. The biggest problem we had was that the ground was like concrete. In the arena itself there was a two-inch layer of soft soil covering a super dry and ultra hard packed ground. For myself, I recovered 3 quarters, 2 dimes, 3 pennies, a broken tooth from the attachment they use to break up the ground to get ready for an event, some sort of large clamp, a double ended clip, two nuts, and various metal scrap.
