My knee is doing a lot better, and I was able to get out and do a little metal detecting with my XP Deus 2 and the 9" coil today. The area I went to was behind the Burnet Community Center on South Boundary Street. This is an old historical area, and on the west side, there used to be a lot of homes from the late 1800s.
The area is loaded with trash, and the XP Deus 2 with the 9" coil did an awesome job. I used the Deep High Conductor Program and changed reactivity to 2.5, so it would be faster and pick out good targets among the trash
As a side note, this area is scheduled to be bulldozed and become the new Burnet Annex, so we must hunt this out before it is gone.
