The April meeting minutes are posted and I want to go over some of the highlights coming up in May.
In May our regular meeting will be our first ever club hunt at Dan Lynch’s property. As we get closer to the hunt a post will come out on the address. Our club hunt is for members only. People wanting to join the hunt that are NOT members now can join the club for $15.00 per person and the hunt for $25.00 before the date of the hunt and $30.00 the morning of the hunt. We will be putting our silver dimes in the grass, not in the ground, that equates money wise (by the cost of the silver dimes) thus, total pay back hunt, to what the $25.00 fee is. It is up to the hunter if they find over or under that much. The hunt starts at 11:00 am to 12:00 am. Please be there at around 9:30 to get set up. Please bring your own non alcoholic drinks and sack lunch if you desire. Bathroom will be in Dan’s house. We will not have our monthly raffle drawing, although if you have anything to donate to the raffle items bring them to give to Debra, BUT, we will have our Nokta Simplex Ultra metal detector that we are raffling off at the TAMDC Treasure Show in Brenham May 17-18, which we hope you can make it to even if you don’t care to work the HLMDC booth, that you can buy tickets for.
