June Night Hunt

Hunt Meeting and sign -up 8:30 – 9:00 pm
Hunt Starts at 9 pm
Hunt Ends at 10pm
Awards at 10:15 pm
There will be (3) Tokens, painted White and planted. Tokens are High Tone and each Token will award a prize.
Prize selection is in the order the Tokens are turned in. 1st turned in get 1st choice.
(But do you leave the hunt to turn it in or chance waiting?)
Tokens will be turned in and recorded on a Turn-in , Sign-off sheet.
There will also be (1) Nickle, painted Black and planted. This will award 100% of the entry fees.
There may also be some current coins scattered for practice and confusion.
For this Hunt, I’m allowing teams of (2) to compete at $5 each person. Some have trouble bending, digging, and standing up repeatedly or some may want to hunt together or maybe a spouse. Teams are limited to 1 Detector, 1 Pin pointer and 1 digging shovel. Prizes will be split.
There are some underground lines around. Know where to dig. Be ethical detectors and fill holes and take trash. There will be some trash and lost coins also. Ask Tom how to notch junk, with your detector in hand, if you don’t know thisvaluable skill.
Kevin & Sue will have their small Motorhome there as a base of operation , for non-hunters and/or a cooling station if needed.
All Hunters should bring a Headlamp, Bug Repellent and Hydration.
