At the meeting of the Highland Lakes Metal Detecting Club on October 4, 2025 10:00 am in the big meeting room at the Kingsland Library. We welcome treasure hunter and author WC Jameson to give our presentation on his new book just released titled: “The Finders Keepers Rule”. This book covers some of WC’s known authentic Lost and buried treasures from his past explorations that there could still be treasure in those places. The book explains where they are, no there probably still isn’t a road to them, geography of where they are, obstacles in getting to them, strategies for getting them and what to do with them if you succeed in getting them. There has probably never been a book such as this. He is supposed to have some to sell at the meeting. Should be very interesting and fun.
Then we will have a short update on the Saturday outing and any other outing coming up. Or should I say the other outings coming up. Please bring your recommendation for what raffle prizes for us to buy for our end of year, Christmas, raffle. And also what food you are going to bring to the Christmas party in December to give to Karen Graham who is the coordinator for the party. Also, at our last meeting we discussed moving our November meeting from the first Saturday of the month to the second Saturday of the month, ONLY THIS NOVEMBER. So our November meeting will be at the Kingsland Library November 8, 10:00 am. Lot going on in our club. Invite family and friends. If you also have anything to donate to our regular raffle please bring it.
