Thank you to Kevin & Dan for doing an awesome job on setting up hunts. Thanks to all those who donate to the raffles, there have been some nice items including handmade items. Thank you to Deb and Karen for handling the raffles.
The items for the big December raffle were on display. Looks great. Good luck to all! Remember Tom can help with instructing on any of the metal detectors.
There will be a Veterans Day hunt hosted by Austin Metal Detecting Club and TAMDC on Saturday, Nov.15th, at Old Settlers Park, Registration at 8:00, hunts begin at 9:00, always a good time and good hunts for silvers and tokens.
We are getting a good variety of food for the December meeting and pot luck, but could still use some desserts as well as anything else you may want to bring. Unsweet tea & water will be provided, sugar will be available or bring your favorite sweetener.
Scott H. gave a great presentation on what got him into metal detecting and eventually the metal detecting business. He brought a lot of nice equipment & accessories to view, explain the how to’s & what for’s, and to sale at a good price if anyone was interested. Thank you Scott.
The find contest was conducted and rewarded, many thanks to Susan & Kevin for taking care of that. There is getting to be more & more interesting finds, keep hunting!
