Tomorrow’s outing September 28 reminder

The outing will be September 28 at 9 am at 2045 CR 342C which is off of 1431 south of Marble Falls. You will pass CR 342 then turn left on CR 342C. There is two miles of paved road then turn right then gravel road to the end of the road. Owners house with numbers 2025 is there in heavy wooded area. This is our speaker, Vaughn Hamiltons home and we will be detecting Hamilton creek below his house. He has had archaeological digs there and they have found several interesting items. He would like for us to see if we can find more. He has first right of refusal of any and all items found. If you don’t know Hamilton creek it is a very well know creek and path between the Colorado river and the Burnet area and used by Indians, pioneers, bandits and soldiers and Texas Rangers back in the day so there could be anything. Bring your own water and snacks. Mosquito spray and maybe a chair to relax on. We don’t want any on the job training in first aid at this outing.
